Me and a friend had a Purple Finch land 8 ft from us and let us observe him for about 40 seconds. Neither of us moved or tried to get our phones out for photos, but those were precious moments to both of us

Aren't birds the best? I've been birding at my nearby nature park for about eight
years. Daily when Spring arrives. And I especially look forward to May every
